Are you kidding me? You made it to a half century? Unbelievable!

Okay all kidding aside it really is hard for me to believe I am 50. I certainly don't feel it and I think mentally I'm more a cross between a 30-year-old and a 12-year-old kid. I've had a lot of laughter in my life and I think my youthful attitude contributes to this disbelief. I have done so much in my life already that I feel like  I've already lived a lifetime. You mean I have another 50 or so years to go??? The years I've lived already has yet to come once over... YIKES!
Well if they're anything like my first 50 years they'll be very exciting and filled with adventures and I'm sure a whole heck of a lot of laughter :-)
What I thought I'd do is include some mementos from the year I was born. Scroll down below to take a look at what I dug up in honor of my 50th birthday, and in honor of being a half a century old.

A day to remember!

Quoted from my baby book... written by my mom.
It was 11 April. (Aunt) Trudy  visited in the afternoon and Mutti & Vati Ternow (Mom's Mom & Dad) were invited in the evening. Jerry (my Dad) canceled their invitation 15 min. before their awaited arrival. Peter Brian gave little Mutti (Mom) definite signs that he was on his way. We drove the long way to the hospital twice that evening. The first time Mutti wore a pretty green dress. The second time it was Vati's (my Dad's) old pajama top. She was finally admitted April 12th at 12:15 AM. Peter Brian arrived finally at 4:55 PM that day and he was the cutest baby we have ever seen without a doubt. His 24-hour picture will prove that! We love him with all that is us for ever and ever.

Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death!

    About Peter...

I am a cheerful and energetic person who enjoys gardening, camping with my husband, and hiking with my dog Coco. I have a passion for gadgets and computers, which I have been tinkering with since I was young. I can handle various technical tasks with ease, and I love helping my friends, family, and co-workers with their electronic or computer-related problems. I have a knack for explaining things in simple terms and showing others how to do things patiently.
