My macro photography continues as I capture my rosemary in bloom...Since I'm back into macro photography "full force" I thought I'd share a photo I had taken several years ago. It was so awesome to capture this bee in mid flight and with such incredible detail. It was more of an accident than planned at the time but I guess I set the bar kind of high back then. You can see more of my earlier macro photography and other photography in my photo gallery. We'll see what I can produce in the future.
What a gorges day but, why do these days happen when I have to work??? Couldn't resist snapping our cherry tree in full bloom and quite striking against the blue sky. Hope this weather lasts through Saturday so I can get out and enjoy it!
I made a commitment to my self...I made a commitment to myself at the beginning of the year that I would Learn more about photography and my camera and of course take more pictures. One of my favorite types of photography is macro photography. Here's something I took today as I was playing around with my camera. It's from our tree in the backyard, I'm not sure if you call it a blossom or I guess a catkin. Anyway I thought it was cool with the water drop run the tip of it.

About Peter...I am a cheerful and energetic person who enjoys gardening, camping with my husband, and hiking with my dog Coco. I have a passion for gadgets and computers, which I have been tinkering with since I was young. I have a knack for explaining things in simple terms and showing others how to do things patiently.
