One of my favorite music groups growing up was Heart. Later in life I had two opportunities to meet these two very talented sisters…
Here I am standing next to Nancy Wilson, and an old friend Kurt next two Ann Wilson. They held a private performance for Fred Meyer music market managers where they performed one of my favorites, The Dog and Butterfly among many of their other number one hits all "unplugged" style. Nothing but their voices and guitars, it was magical!
Later that same year I got to decorate for a Christmas release album featuring Ann & Nancy Wilson and their group at the time called The Love Mongers. The CD release party was held at the Back Door bar in Seattle where they had filmed their VH1 Behind The Music special a few years prior. After the publicity party they held an after party which we got to attend where I chatted in-depth and even danced with a Ann. A true highlight of my career and a night I will never forget. In this picture you can see me next to Ann and front and center is Nancy next to my good friend and fellow display buddy Steven who helped me decorate the event. Brent Barry who worked at Fred Meyer and formed the Fred Meyer music label the Love Mongers were featured on was responsible for getting me involved in both projects. I am forever grateful to him and his trust in me, my design sense, and abilities.
I am an upbeat energetic individual and believe most people would describe me as being easy-going, patient, and tech savvy. In my youth I was a “tinkerer” and hence have grown up to be handy with most gadgets and computer tasks.
I am often called upon by my friends, family, and co-workers to help with technical, electronic or a computer related problems which I am very good at helping with. I have the ability to speak in laymen everyday terms and have a patient show how attitude.
