American Hornbeam Catkin I made a commitment to myself at the beginning of the year that I would Learn more about photography and my camera and of course take more pictures. One of my favorite types of photography is macro photography. Here's something I took today as I was playing around with my camera. It's from our tree in the backyard, I'm not sure if you call it a blossom or I guess a catkin. Anyway I thought it was cool with the water drop run the tip of it.  Macro Plywood Here is an extreme close-up of some plywood. It could almost be a cross-section of a log and yet this is about 6 in.²
